Our Environment, Health & Safety Policy

Management environnemental

Objectives:

• Each production or development unit must implement and maintain a certified
environmental management system according to ISO 14001.
• We shall train and inform our employees about environmental, health and safety
issues and involve them in the continuous improvement process.

• Newly acquired production or development units shall have
implemented ISO 14001 within 3 years from acquisition.
• We shall work only with selected certification bodies to ensure best possible quality and cost-efficiency.

Energy & Materials

Objectives:

• We work to increase our resource efficiency by reducing the consumption of energy and raw materials in our production and by finding ways to improve the recovery of material and energy from production waste which we cannot reduce or avoid.

• Each operative unit shall develop a plan for waste reduction and recovery with the objective to increase the Group’s share of recovered waste by 25% in 3 years.
• Each operative unit shall implement a plan for reduction of energy consumption.

Health & Safety

Objectives:

• Each operative unit is responsible for managing Health & Safety according to the
Group’s common standards as described in the Safety@Work Manual. We shall maintain good health and safety standards wherever we operate and work to
minimize the risks of accidents.

• To implement Safety@Work in all locations.
• To perform annual Safety@Work Blue Grading audits.

Development

Objectives:

• Environmental, health and safety aspects shall be taken into account in the development of products and processes.
• We shall evaluate the effects on environment, health and safety of the chemical substances used in our products and processes.

• To create common criteria for assessment of chemicals and a common system for sharing of environment and safety information.
• To perform regular Environment Health and Safety -assessment
of chemicals used in production with the aim to substitute them
with alternatives more friendly to environment and health.

Stakeholder Relations

Objectives:

• We shall provide our stakeholders with open and transparent information about our
sustainability performance by publishing annual Group Sustainability Reports.
• We listen to our stakeholders and take their opinions into account with the objective to ensure the sustainable success of our company.

• To develop our sustainability reporting according to Global
Reporting Initiative (GRI) Guidelines.
• The Group shall develop recommendations for stakeholder
dialogues in order to support local activities.
